Holding Every Leader Accountable
Regular Americans, heard by the people they elect. Every week, not just on Election Day.
“A republic, if you can keep it.”
Benjamin Franklin, 1787
Lobbyists, donors, and activists talk to our leaders every day. Most citizens only speak up once every few years at the ballot box. Americans For Common Sense changes that. We make it fast and simple for ordinary people to contact their officials, speak with one voice on the issues that matter, and keep showing up long after the election is over.
What We Do
Inform
We share what is coming up for a vote and who represents you.
Equip
We give you ready to use emails, call scripts, and phone numbers.
Mobilize
We turn one voice into thousands when it counts.
Two Minutes Can Change a Vote
Offices count every call and email from constituents. When thousands of people say the same thing in the same week, leaders listen.
“When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.” Proverbs 29:2 (NIV)
