Why AFCS Exists

AFCS exists so that regular Americans are heard by the people they elect, every week, not just on Election Day.

In 1787, Benjamin Franklin was asked what kind of government the founders had created. He answered, “A republic, if you can keep it.” Keeping it is our job.

Mission

Hold every elected leader accountable to the people who put them in office.

Mandate

Make it fast and simple for citizens to contact their officials, speak with one voice on the issues that matter, and keep showing up long after the election is over.

Our Seven Rules

Every AFCS member agrees to these rules. They are what make us credible.

  1. We tell the truth. We check our facts before we speak. Common sense starts with honesty.
  2. We stay respectful. No threats, no name calling, no ugliness. Firm, never cruel. Staffers who answer the phones are people too.
  3. We hold everyone accountable. Party labels do not buy anyone a free pass, including the people we supported.
  4. We show up consistently. Not once a year. Every time an important vote comes up, we make our voices heard.
  5. We pray for our leaders. Even the ones we oppose.
  6. We act locally too. City councils, school boards, and county offices shape daily life more than Washington does.
  7. We keep faith first. This movement serves our values. It never replaces them.
